It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine (Roy) Nicknair of South Windsor, Connecticut, born in Eagle Lake, Maine, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ivan D. Nicknair; her parents, Leo P. Roy and Yvonne Roy (Thibodeau); her son Michael D. Nicknair; and her sister Cathy Parsons.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Cortese (Salvatore) of Franklinton, NC, Gail Nicknair (Matthew Richards) of East Granby and Brian Nicknair (Katherine) of Enfield; her siblings, Roger Roy (Pril) of Thailand, Peter Roy and Connie Cyr (Valmon); her brother-in-law Jack Parsons of Coventry; her grandchildren, Gary Forghetti Jr. (Danielle), Holly Forghetti (Brian Ehrenfeld) and Gabrielle Nicknair of Enfield; and her great grandchildren, Brayden and Kendall. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
