We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2021, at the age of 84, Fred M. Karas of South Windsor, Connecticut, born in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Mary Karas (Barbowski); and his parents, Fred F. Karas and Dorothy Karas (Butelewicz). He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Theriault of Ellington and Donna DeCiantis (Anthony) of South Windsor; his sister Suzanne Colligas of Allentown, PA; his grandsons, David DeCiantis (Melissa) of South Windsor and Justin Theriault (Katherine) of West Hartford; his great grandchildren, Damon, Anthony, Alex and Mason; and his sister-in-law Winifred Meyers of Sebastian, FL..

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
