It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances (Pastula) Kostyk of South Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on December 25, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John J. Kostyk; her parents, Joseph Pastula and Sophie Pastula (Zyla); and her siblings, Frank, Joseph, Michael, Anthony, John, Stanley, Thomas, Ann and Helene.

She is survived by: her children, David Kostyk (Suzanne) of Tolland and Judy Hannon (Patrick) of Broad Brook; her grandchildren, Breanne Kostyk (Jeffrey Hinson) of New Orleans, LA, Nina Denesha (Joshua) of Centennial, CO, Matthew Kostyk of West Hartford, Zachary Hannon of South Windsor and Amanda Hannon (Michael Clynch) of East Windsor; and her brother Raymond Pastula. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Attendees are asked to use face coverings and follow social distancing guidelines.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

“My memory of Mrs. Kostyk is the lines on Amanda's and Judy's tops! Helping Judy cook etc at the Hannon picnic. I spilled beer on the floor and was wiping it up and she said blot it! Took the towel and cleaned it up with a smile. I remember hearing how she got lunch meat for Pat. I remember the blizzard as she was there the night before! And getting cleaning supplies for Judy!
