He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion Hintz (Morrissette); his parents, Lester Hintz and Marion Hintz (Shumway); and his former wife Irene Hintz (Willey). He is survived by: his children, Edward Hintz (Sharon) of South Carolina, Steven Hintz (Carolyn) of South Windsor and Elizabeth Jay (Gene) of Strafford, NH; his grandchildren, Andy Jay, Dan Hintz, Becky Jay (Mark Reilly), Eric Hintz and Olivia Hintz; his brother Harold Hintz (Phyllis Black); his niece Leslie Hintz Smith (Mike); his stepsons, Joseph Puniello (Christine), Roger Morrissette and Billy Morrissette; and his stepgrandchild Jesse Puniello (Megan).
