He is survived by: his wife Joanna Malapetsa; his children, Angeliki Malapetsa of South Windsor, Nikolaos Malapetsas of South Windsor, Eleni Malapetsa of Greece, John Malapetsas of Coventry and Demetrios Malapetsas of Greece; his grandchildren, Stavros, Dionisios, Christina and Joanna; his brother Georgios Malapetsas (Maria) of Greece; his brother-in-law George Bakogiorgas (Evangelia); his niece Eleni Sierra; his great-nephew Gianni of East Hartford; his nephew Anastasios Malapetsas (Lefkothea); and his great-nephew Haralambos of New Jersey.
