She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas P. Melia; her parent James Lawless; and her sister Colleen Sarasin. She is survived by: her parent Constance Lawless (Downing); her children, Michael (Julie Abrams Melia) of South Windsor, CT, Matthew (Kali Sparks) of Seattle, WA, Colleen Melia (Pedro Gutierrez) of Sammamish, WA and Caitlin Melia of Manchester; her grandchildren, Pedro, Abigail, Patrick Gutierrez, Thomas Melia and Maggie Melia; her sister Laurene Madern of Raleigh; and her brother-in-law Lenny Madern of Raleigh. She is also survived by nephew and multiple nieces.
