It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clayton Zahner of South Windsor, Connecticut, who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ernest and Ruth Zahner (Ludwig); his wife Marilyn Zahner (West); his brother Richard Zahner; and his brother-in-law Gene Kupferschmid.

He is survived by: his son Jason Zahner (Gina) of Tolland; his siblings, Ellen Kupferschmid (Zahner) of Tolland and Emery Zahner (Susan) of Ellington; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Kupferschmid of Ellington, Janet Binkowski (Kupferschmid) of Ellington, Robert Binkowski of Ellington, Neal Kupferschmid (Jennifer) of Tolland, Gail Williams (Kim) of Enfield, Keely Lee (Walter) of Ellington, Dalton Zahner and Jen Aronne of Rockville; and his grandchildren, Bobby Kaplan of Somers, Kelsey Kaplan of Tolland and Wilsey Catelyn Zahner.
