He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Moriarty and Edith Lofgren Moriarty; his sister Lizabeth M. Schmitz; his parents-in-law, George and Irene Bugler; and his brothers-in-law, Richard and Ronald Bugler.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Bugler Moriarty; his brothers-in-law, Bertram Schmitz Jr., George Bugler (Judy), Robert Bugler (Denise) and John Bugler; his cousin Elaine Niland (Jeffrey); and his goddaughter Emily A. Niland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
