He is survived by: his children, James H. Murphy, Jr. of Woodstock, CT, Donna Morin (Chad) of South Killingly, CT, Brenda Skidmore (Michael) of Danielson, CT, Linda Severino (Steven) of South Killingly, CT and Patricia Eastman (Scott) of Canterbury; his brother Ova; and his siblings-in-law, Jo Murphy of Canton, OH, Donald, Edith Gull and Betty Gull.
