He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Larson and Mildred Larson (Jones); his sister Shirley Williams; and his grandson Brenden Larson. He is survived by: his wife Anne Larson (Merrill); his children, Richard W. Larson, Jr. of Vernon, Carol Williams (Ken) and Debra Rivard (Mark) of Enfield; his daughter-in-law Diane McGroarty of Somers; his sister Cynthia Scranton; his sister-in-law Audrey Merrill of New London; his grandchildren, Seana Cartine, Erin Larson, Brian Williams, Laura Williams, Sarah Williams, Danielle Bessaoud, Adam Rivard and Ashley Pleva; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Alex, Mackenzie, Griffin, Gabriel, Skyler, Elijah, Aria and Addison; and his close friend Judy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
