He was predeceased by: his parents, William Young and Lucy Young (Rutherford); his nephew John Young; his siblings, John Young and Evelyn Young; and his great-nephew Ryan.

He is survived by: his nieces, Corinne Wassmuth (Roger) and Kim Andrews; his nephew Ken Young (Anicia); and also Betsy.
