It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillian Rookey of Somers, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on June 28, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond W. Rookey, Sr.; her parents, James Snow and Lillian Snow (Bennett); and her siblings, Edith Mather, Mabel Pelkey, Mae Dakers, James, Frank, Curtis and George Snow.
She is survived by: her son Raymond Rookey, Jr. of Somers; her nephews, Kevin Pelkey (Elizabeth) and David Pelkey (Paula) of Enfield; and her sisters-in-law, Eugenia Goodale, Shirley Boothe and Phyllis Rookey of Enfield. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
