It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Hill Russell of Somers, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on October 27, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Reid and Blanche Russell (Conlan); and his aunt Barbara Conlan. He is survived by: his wife Kim Russell (Carragher); his children, Ryan Michael Russell (Darpan Bohara), Sean Reid Russell and Erin Anne Russell; his brother Michael Russell (Cheryl); his niece Kelly Ogden (Jason Ogden); and his aunt Dorothy. He is also survived by many loving brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Somers Funeral Home (354 Main St, Somers, CT 06071). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the All Saints Church (25 School St, Somers, CT 06072). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Somers Center Cemetery (81 Battle St, Somers, CT 06071).
