We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2024, at the age of 97, Gertrude Persano of Somers, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Stolarz and Sophie Stolarz (Ziemba); her husband Robert Persano; her son James Persano; her daughter-in-law Laury Persano; and her siblings, Henry, Richard, Theodore Stolarz, Emma, Evelyn, Phyllis Stolarz, Mary Jane DeLisa and Elizabeth Nebelsky.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Haight (Donald); her grandchildren, Alissa Haight-Aguda (Louis) and Michael Haight; her great grandchildren, Louis, Colton Aguda, James, Weston and Quinlivan Galloway; and her sisters-in-law, Catherine Bailey and Mary Stolarz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
