It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene E. McCarthy III (Somers, Connecticut), who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Nancy A. McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Joan McCarthy (Simmons); his son-in-law Doug M. Caron; his grandsons, Matthew T. and Scott M. Caron; his brothers, Dr. David A. McCarthy (Susan) and Kevin C. McCarthy (Robin C. Marrotte); and also Paul. He is also survived by three nieces, a nephew.
Gene McCarthy was born in July 1950 to parents Mabel E. (Emanuelson) McCarthy & Eugene E. McCarthy Jr. The Rev. Dr. Eugene E. McCarthy passed at home in November 2022, surrounded by his family after many years' long journey with Alzheimer's Disease.
