She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufino Tabarez and Rosaura Tabarez (Garcia); and her husband Richard E. Thomas, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Richard E. Thomas, Jr. of Rochester Hills, MI, Gary E. Thomas of New Rochelle, NY, Nancy E. Lopez (Don) of Seminole, AL and Roy Thomas (Ava Paterwic) of Stafford Springs, CT; her siblings, Roy Tabarez (Jan) of Montery, CA and Lucy Castro of Pleasant Valley, CA; her grandchildren, Zachery M. Thomas (Kim), Andrew E. Thomas, Ashley E. Cogan (Justin), Laura E. Lopez and Christopher R. Thomas; and her great grandchildren, Riley Lopez, Susan Thomas, Charlotte Cogan, Victoria and Lorenzo Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
