He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio A. Hernandez, Sr. and Margarita Hernandez (Toledo); his brothers, Willie and Eddie Hernandez; and his sister-in-law Joanna Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Hernandez (Robinson); his children, Christie Oldakowski (Joe) of Bolton, Jesse Martello (Holly) of Somers and Daniel Hernandez (Kelly) of Broad Brook; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Jesse and Lauren Martello; his children, Julianna, Oliver and Annie Oldakowski; his siblings, Luis Hernandez, Vivian Valentine (Victor) and Lillian Calisto (Michael); and his brother-in-law Dave (Carol). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Somers Funeral Home (354 Main St, Somers, CT 06071). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at the Somers Center Cemetery (81 Battle St, Somers, CT 06071).
