She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Patria (Pola) and Raymond Patria; and her stepsister Patricia Koehler (Thomas J. Murray, Jr). She is survived by: her husband Thomas; her sons, Scott Murray (Maureen) and Daniel Murray (Kristen); her siblings, Gerald Patria (Elizabeth) and Laury Wheeler Mathews (Rich); her granddaughters, Kaitlin Murray, Megan Murray Meyers (Adam), Susan Murray, Mackenzie Murray and Morgan Murray; her great grandchildren, Ian and Sammy Meyers; and her stepsiblings, Pam Lughinbuhl (Chet) and Scott Wheeler (Irma). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doreen's memory may be made to Connecticut Children's Medical Center or Hartford HealthCare Pancreatic Cancer Center.
