She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth "Beansie" Nelson (Trombly); and her brother Dale Nelson. She is survived by: her father Merton G. Nelson of Voluntown, CT; her close friend Benjamin Davis; her children, Benjamin Davis, Jr., Amber Davis and Tyffany Davis; her granddaughter Avah Marie; her siblings, Richard, Donald, Dean Nelson and Debra Rivers-Mangiafico; her cousin Louann Chalko; and her pets, Dominic and Dozer.
