We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2022, at the age of 92, Claire Birkenshaw of Somers, Connecticut, born in Springfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert LaValley and Annie LaValley; her husband Ralph F. Birkenshaw; her siblings, Herbert LaValley, Doris LaValley and Jeanne Bergeron; and her nephew Robert LaValley.
She is survived by: her son David Birkenshaw (Kathleen) of Somers; her grandchildren, Kristin Scata and David Ryan Birkenshaw; her daughter Nancy Loiselle (Peter) of Somers; her grandchildren, Keith and Melinda Loiselle; her daughter Lynn Hughes (Kim) of Huntsville, AL; her granddaughters, Natalie and Brittney Jurgen; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley Birkenshaw, Michael and Alivia Scata; her sister Shirley Donnelly of Springfield, MA; and her friend Rita Dean. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
