It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Lindsey of Somers, Connecticut, born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, who passed away on August 6, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Lindsey and Vera Lindsey (McVey); his former wife Eugenia Lindsey; and his siblings, Leon, Billy, George and Bobbie.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Lindsey (Whitaker); his children, Marguerite "Margo" Schlotterbeck (Joe), Paul Lindsey (Jill) and Gregory Lindsey (Debbie); and his stepchildren, William Galbraith (Renee) of Somers and Lois Martin (Dennis). He is also survived by several grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
