He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bitterli and Dorothy M. Bitterli (Tiernan). He is survived by: his wife Janice Ann Bitterli (O'Reilly); his children, Kathy Murphy (Tom Vorderer) of Suffield, Bill Bitterli (Karen Lubin) of West Hartford and Susan Volpe (John) of Londonderry, NH; his brother Bob Bitterli (Patty) of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Megan Murphy, Annie Murphy, Sara Murphy, Casey Bitterli, Riley Bitterli, Jack Bitterli, Anne Bitterli, Kayla Volpe Wilson, Jennifer Volpe Hamel, Elizabeth Volpe Santschi, Angelina Volpe and Jaidence Volpe; and his great grandchildren, Jude, Damian and Abigail.
