He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Helen Clayberger (Adams) and Raymond P. Clayberger; his wife Virginia; and his daughters, Carol Clayberger of Chicago, IL, Nancy Mazzoli of Greenwich, CT and Pat Wenger of Seattle, WA. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Pierce was very involved with the Simsbury Historical Society and served as a member of the McLean Foundation Board.
