He was predeceased by: his parents, Sun Su and Qing Wen Chen. He is survived by: his wife Sheue-Er Chen; his children, David Chen and Janice Shyu (Joshua Shyu); and his grandchildren, Josie and Julian Shyu.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chinese Baptist Church of Greater Hartford (160 Wintonbury Ave, Bloomfield, CT 06002).
