She was predeceased by: her father V. James Forte; her daughter-in-law Kennis Furuya Bishop; and her sisters, Judith Boyle (Forte) and Natalie Cavanagh (Forte). She is survived by: her husband Gordon W. Bishop of Simsbury, CT; her mother Natalie Forte (Carboni); her children, Laura Feeney (Dale Feeney) of Simsbury, CT and Rev. Gregory J. Bishop of Chula Vista, CA; and her grandchildren, Christopher Feeney of Simsbury, Julia Feeney of Columbus, OH, Noah Bishop and Charis Bishop of Chula Vista, CA.. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
