He is survived by: his close friends, Jackie Myketyn and Elena Meile; his daughters, Karen and Mary Beth Tolan; his son-in-law Paul Cummings; his grandchildren, Derek and Maeve Cummings; his nieces, Melanie Irvin of North Carolina and Vickey Purdue (Garrett) of New Mexico; and his nephew John (Maxine Garrett) of South Carolina.
