It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kathleen Miller of Simsbury, Connecticut, who passed away on November 27, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul J. Miller; her parents, Charles Murphy and Honora Murphy; and her brothers, James C. Murphy and Daniel T. Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Brian Miller (Bet) and Sara Miller (Eric Gorski); her grandchildren, Layla Foley, Sydnee and Nolan Miller; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Holden, Celeste McMullin (late Dan), Eileen Neulinger (Ron), Joe Murphy (Victoria), Dr. Loretta Murphy (Paul Allen), Laura Murphy (David Jaffe), Michael Murphy (Joanna Wong), Matt Murphy (Maarit Tallila-Murphy), Tim Murphy, Bernard Murphy, Richard Murphy (Tina) and Ann Murphy (Jesse Daniels). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 690 Hopmeadow Street, Simsbury, CT 06070.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Friends of the Simsbury Public Library (http://www.simsburylibrary.info) or the Appalachian Mountain Club (http://www.outdoors.org) reflecting Kathleen's passion and commitment to education and the outdoors.
