He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Maloney and Agnes Maloney; his daughter Eileen Maloney; and his sister Jean Maloney. He is survived by: his wife Frances Maloney; his son Joseph Maloney; and his grandson Gray Maloney.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Autoimmune Disease Research Center at John Hopkins would be greatly appreciated.
