He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ida Coulter; his parents, Ida Kagan and Max Kagan; his sons, John and Andrew; his stepdaughter Katherine Herbert; and his grandchildren, Micheal, Brandon, Timothy and Claire Herbert.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home - Simsbury (880 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT 06070). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Joel D. Kagan Fund, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06117 to the attention of Chris Adams.
