She was predeceased by: her husband James A. Staley; and her parents, Melvin L. Abbott and Vera Abbott (Berry). She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Staley of Burlington, Rebecca Gattilia (Gary) of Wallingford and Susan Augustine (Mark) of New Bern, NC; her grandchild Rachele Platenyk (Kyle); her daughter Melissa Gattilia; and her great grandchild Walker Charles Platenyk.
