James Gallagher Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Gallagher of Simsbury, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 19, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis James and Mary Gallagher (Vincent); his wife Paula (Hudzik); and his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Kuhnly and Joseph.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Gallagher of Simsbury, James Jr. (Stacie) of Simsbury, Michael (Margaret) of Simsbury and Gregory (Christine) of East Granby; his grandchildren, Waide, Wyatt, Brendan, Aidan, Declan, Emmett, Melissa, Amanda, Alexa and Evan; and his in-laws, Patricia Ness (Phil) of Pittsburgh, PA, Cecilia Hudzik of Fairfield and Michael Hudzik (Susan) of Trumbull.
Donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
