He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Berta Menzel (Wolz) and Hermann Menzel; his wife Christa; his children, Wendy McIntosh, Christoph Menzel and Nicola Tubach; his children-in-law, Grace Menzel, Jim McIntosh and Doug Tubach; and his grandchildren, Christa Tubach Yung (Curtis Yung), Nicholas Tubach, Clare Menzel, Karl Menzel and Ernesta McIntosh.
