He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Julia (Brandon), Lisa (Ryan) and Edward Jr.; his brother Stanley Novak II; his nephews, Stanley Novak III and Joseph Novak; his godmother Carol Vilkauskas; his goddaughter Theresa Kampf; his uncle Ed; his aunt Connie Burke; his friend Scott Williams; his mother-in-law Janet McGlauflin; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy, Mike Paquette, Thomas, Sharon McGlauflin, Susan, Rocky Balsamo, Diane and John DiSimone. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family kindly asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Mary's Church, P.O. Box 575, Simsbury, CT 06070.
