She is survived by: her husband Bruce Powell of Simsbury; her children, Katie Chase (AndE Chase) of Gardiner, NY and David Powell (Tessa Yondorf) of Portland, OR; and her sisters, Linda Thayer (George Thayer) of Westfield, NJ and Doreen Borghoff (Jim Borghoff) of Simsbury. She is also survived by two grandchildren, and many other cousins, nieces, and nephews.
