He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Amy Coburn Ferris, David Coburn (Emily) and Elizabeth Derway (John); his grandchildren, Scott, Nicholas, Robert, Taylor, Samuel, Elizabeth, Meredith, Hannah, Abigail, Amanda and Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Jameson, Amelia, River, Tanner, Skylar, Walter, Clive and Simon; and his sister Eleanor Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made in his name to the Simsbury Volunteer Fire Department, Simsbury Volunteer Ambulance, and or Simsbury police.
