With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Giannini of Simsbury, Connecticut, born in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 10, 2021 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anthony Giannini to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Giannini (Walcofsky); his parents, Pasquale Giannini and Rose Giannini (Apruzzese); and his sisters, Isabelle Dascanio and Marion Tranghese.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Giannini (Mary Ellen) of Lovettsville, VA, Elaine Giannini of Simsbury, Susan Slifkin (Norman) of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Nancy Sieller (James) of Torrington; his grandchildren, Matthew Slifkin (Kristy), Richard Slifkin (Michelle Bova), Lauren Giannini, Nikolaus Giannini, Steven Sieller (Summer) and William Sieller (Maura); his great grandchildren, Claire, Jack Sieller, Layla, Marissa Sieller, Matthew Slifkin, Jr., Leonardo and Joseph Repyneck; and his sister Eva Perrone of Jupiter, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
