It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann Long (Simsbury, Connecticut), born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on April 19, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John O'Connell and Bridie O'Connell (Griffin). She is survived by: her husband Michael T. Long; her children, Michael B. Long (Stephanie) of Santa Clarita, CA, Maura Sheehan (Michael) of Madison, CT and Deirdre Absolonne (Pierrick) of Darien, CT; her grandchildren, Keara, Brendan (Devin Long), Finn, Tessie (Maeve Sheehan) and Felix (Stella Absolonne); her brother John O'Connell; her sister-in-law Sheila; her sister Mary O'Connell; her brother-in-law John Long (Patricia); and her children, Dr. Rolf Knoll, Dr. Jonathan Sporn and Linda Prell, RN. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws and close friends.
