She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund J. Collier and Anna Collier (Uzdavinis); her husband Joseph Lawrence Gilman; her son Lawrence Collier Gilman; and her brother Edmund James Collier.

She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne Gilman (Gena Taylor) of New York City; her daughter-in-law Susan Apling-Gilman of Delta Junction, AK; her grandson Aaron Apling-Gilman (Kayla Weller); her great grandchild Landon Hayes Apling-Gilman of Anchorage, AK; her sister-in-law Anne Collier of Wakefield, MA; her niece Elizabeth Collier; and her nephews, Matthew Collier of Wakefield, MA and David Collier of Wildomar, CA..
