With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan Fuhr of Simsbury, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Alan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Alan Paul Fuhr; his wife Rose McGurkin; his children, Jessica (Mark Rohde), Shannon (Matthew Brigham) and Michael Fuhr; and his sisters, Judith Jager and Shelly Jaret. He was also cherished by his 8 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home - Simsbury (880 Hopmeadow St, Simsbury, CT 06070).

Calling hours are scheduled for Saturday, January 4th, 12-2:30pm at Vincent's Funeral Home, Simsbury, CT, In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lewy Body Dementia Association LBDA.org or to UCONN Health Center Body. Donation Program | School of Medicine.
