He is survived by: his sister Catherine Collins (Kitty) of Blauvelt, NY; his sons, Kieran (Debbie) of New Milford, CT and Declan (Doreen) of Brewster, NY; his grandsons, Brian, Sean, Connor, Brendan, Liam and Pia; his great grandchild Rory; and his caregivers, Krystana Pappes, Diane Meadows and Lorie Jo Knapp.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the MJ Quill Irish Cultural & Sports Centre in East Durham New York in memory of John and Elizabeth McGrath.
