Hans Dieter Boehme Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hans Dieter Boehme of Sherman, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 12, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Boehme and Hedwig E. Boehme (Meyer). He is survived by: his wife Irene Hannan-Boehme; his daughters, Suzanne Westergard (John) and Barbara Hankins (Timothy); his former wife Emmy; his grandsons, Thomas Westergard (Lindsay) and Christopher Stefensonwestergard (Kelly); his great grandchildren, Emery and Willow Westergard; and his siblings, Manfred, Reiner Boehme, Ingrid Starling and Rose Mary Boehme. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lillis Funeral Home (58 Bridge St, New Milford, CT 06776). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Tunnel 2 Towers (t2t.org) or by mail to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306.
