He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Halas and Mildred Halas (Ferry); and his son Scot T. Halas. He is survived by: his wife Linda Halas (Maas); his son Dale E. Halas, Jr. (Laura); his daughter-in-law Maritza Halas; his daughters, Michelle Maas Deane (Matt), Lori Maas (Dallas Hayes) and Kymberly M. Lahr (J. Gregory); and his grandchildren, Dillon, Scot Jr., Tyler Halas, Carter, Miles Deane, Gregory, Siena Lahr and Springer Spaniel.
