Nikola Tas Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nikola Tas of Shelton, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Nikola's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Nikola has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ilyas Tas and Hanni Tas; and his child Mikail Tas. He is survived by: his wife Nazire Yaylagul; and his children, Elis Gulenay (Gulenay), Lina Damien, Yusuf Tas and Anna Jarrtitian.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church (5458 Park Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06604). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
