Junis Nicholson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Junis Nicholson of Shelton, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Junis Nicholson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Gustav Anderson; and her husband William Nicholson. She is survived by: her mother Rosa Anderson; her sons, William, Clifford and Ronald Nicholson; and her grandchildren, Kelsey, Kyle, Bridget, Avery and Andrew.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Honan Funeral Home (58 Main St, Newtown, CT 06470).
Even in her later years, afflicted by Alzheimer's disease, she always had a smile and ready laughter that endeared her to her caretakers and raised the spirits of those around her. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association at https://act.alz.org.
