With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jorge Calderon in Shelton, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jorge had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Jorge may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomas Calderon and Carlotta Lanzot; and his siblings, Jeremiah, Vicente and Confessora.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leyda Calderon and Lillian; his son-in-law Juan Fontañez; and his son George Calderon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cornerstone Christian Center (349 Wheelers Farm Rd, Milford, CT 06461). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (885 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610).
