We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2024, at the age of 92, Joan Marie Platt (Shelton, Connecticut), born in Bristol, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Horkheimer and Margaret Horkheimer; and her brother Robert Horkheimer. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Charlie" Platt; her children, Amy Johnson (Gary) and Timothy Platt (Karen); and her grandchildren, Jake, Zach, Dylan Johnson, Bryan and Kevin Platt.

Contributions in her memory are encouraged to the charity of one's choice.
