She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph P. Mortati; her parents, Agostino Santaniello and Antoinette Santaniello (Pirraglia); her husband Joe; and her brother Louis Santaniello (Grace).

She is survived by: her children, Joseph Mortati (Denise) of Trumbull, Stephen Mortati of Danbury and Annette Serniak (Jay) of Stamford, CT.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Mortati (Andy McEvoy), Sarah Mortati (James Overton), Andrew Mortati (Kasey), Victoria Mortati, Allyson Mitry (Will), Kathryn Mortati and Caroline Serniak; her great grandchildren, Carlo, Aurora and Eleanor; and her siblings, Anthony Santaniello (Gloria) of Islip, NY and Rose Marie Worhacz (Bob) of Hauppauge, NY..
