It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Mandel of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on October 9, 2020, at the age of 49, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Tracy Mandel (Shultz); his parents, Jeff and Suzanne Mandel (Coleman); his children, Julia Mandel and Jimmy Mandel; his step-children, Megan, Meredith and Melissa Dawley; his biological father James Wermuth; his siblings, Dave Wermuth, Rich Wermuth (Tracey) and Tina Gottshall (Andrew); his parents-in-law, Bob and Nancy Shultz; his siblings-in-law, Tanya Birmingham (Mike), Gary Shultz (Noel), Jamie Shultz (Susan); his Uncles Jim Coleman and Ed Mandel (Adela); and his cousins, June, Jim, Jennifer, Jolene, Rachel, David, Deborah, Matthew and Paul. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Visitors are asked to wear masks and social distance as they walk through, pay their respects and exit without lingering to ensure all guests can come through.
