He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Turner (Sharkevich); his parents, Elie Turner and Patsy Turner (Williams); and his siblings, Elie "Sonny" Turner Jr., Eddie Turner, Dot Beavers and Mable Smith.
He is survived by: his son Gregory Turner; his sister Reverend Carrie M. Booker; and his extended family, Virginia, Samantha, Jenn and Mike. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Riverview Funeral Home (390 River Rd, Shelton, CT 06484). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (855 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610).
