It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald J Steer of Shelton, Connecticut, born in Duryea, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne Sire Steer; his parents, Joseph Steer and Eleanor Viscavage Steer; his son Richard Steer; and his sister-in-law Marcia Steer.
He is survived by: his daughter Yasmine V. Cronin (Craig) of North Haven; his grandsons, James, Christopher Steer of Stratford and Craig J. Cronin (Kimberly) of Woodbridge; his great grandchildren, Chloe and Brody Cronin; his siblings, James Steer of Duryea, PA and Virginia Steer of Pittston, PA; and his daughter-in-law Judith Steer of Stratford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
